Consultations for Pico Laser Treatments

Do I need a consultation before booking a treatment?

Yes, babe! All first-time clients must book a 15-minute consultation before we zap anything. It’s how we keep your skin safe and get you real results. No consultation = no treatment. Simple as that.

What happens during the consultation?

We’ll chat about your skin goals, assess the area you want treated, check your skin type, and rule out any no-gos (like certain meds or recent sun exposure). Expect good vibes, no pressure, and straight-up info.

Is the consultation free?

But of course! Bring your questions, we cover what you want to know in 15 minutes.

Do I have to get treated right after the consultation?

Not necessarily. If you're feeling confident after our chat and your skin gets the green light, we’ll book your first session at a time that suits you. Occasionally, if there’s a gap right after your consultation and you've passed the all checks, we might kick off your first treatment then and there. But only if it’s safe - skin first, always!

What should I do before my consultation?

  • Come with clean skin (no makeup, lotion, or fake tan on the treatment area).
  • Bring any skincare products you’re using, if you can.
  • Let us know about any meds, skin conditions, or sun exposure.
  • Be honest - we don’t judge, but we do want the best results for you.

What if I’m not suitable for laser?

That’s what the consultation is for! If Pico isn’t your match made in skin heaven, we’ll explain why and suggest alternatives or a new plan of action. No hard feelings.

Can I book treatments without a consultation if I’ve had laser before?

If you’re new to Goodphoria Laser Treatments, we still need that consultation. Every clinic is different, and our lasers (and charm) are next-level. We don’t cut corners when it comes to your skin.

Will I get a treatment plan?

You bet. After your consultation, we’ll create a bespoke plan just for you – based on your skin, goals, and how your patch test reacts. No one-size-fits-all nonsense here.

How do I book my consultation?

Easy! Click the blue button on the bottom right hand side of your screen, choose “Consultation,” pick a day and time that suits you, and we’ll take care of the rest. Your skin’s glow-up starts there.

Carbon Peeling with Pico Laser

What is carbon peeling?

Carbon Peeling is a glow-up in laser form. We apply a thin layer of carbon mask to your skin, then use our high-tech Pico laser to gently heat and vaporise it, lifting away impurities, oil, and dead skin cells in the process. Think smoother texture, smaller-looking pores, and a radiant finish.

Is it painful?

Not at all. Most clients describe it as a warm, tingly sensation, a little like a soft snap or tickle. No numbing needed, no downtime after.

What skin concerns does it help with?

Carbon Peeling is amazing for

  • Dull, tired-looking skin
  • Large or congested pores
  • Mild acne or oiliness
  • Uneven tone or rough texture
  • Reducing the appearance of fine lines

It's like hitting the reset button on your skin.

Can anyone get this treatment?

Yes! It’s safe for most skin types and tones. We suggest booking a consultation before your first session to tailor everything to you and your skin.

How long does the treatment take?

The full face appointment takes around 30–40 minutes, including prep and aftercare tips depending on what body area is being treated it could be a little longer or shorter. It's still perfect for a lunchtime lift.

How soon will I see results?

You’ll likely notice an immediate fresh radiance, but the full benefits, like smoother skin and clearer pores, build up over the next few days. Even better after a few sessions!

Is there any downtime?

Nope! You might look a little flushed right after, but that fades quickly. You can go back to your day with no stress, although a slight feeling of sunburn may be experienced (this is normal, and where the magic happens). Just stay away from the direct sun rays and use SPF.

How often should I book carbon peels?

Every 2–4 weeks is ideal, depending on your skin goals. We’ll guide you on the best plan after your first glow-up.

Can I get this on other areas besides my face?

Yes. We focus on small-area treatments, so if you’re keen on treating things like uneven texture on the arms, mention it during your consultation - we’ve got options.

Tattoo and PMU Removal with Pico Laser

How does tattoo removal work?

Our Pico laser sends ultra-fast pulses of energy into the tattoo, breaking the ink down into tiny particles that your body naturally clears over time. It’s safe, powerful, and designed to fade or remove tattoos with as little disruption to your skin as possible.

Does it hurt?

Let’s keep it real - it’s not pain-free, but it’s quick and manageable. Most people say it feels like warm tiny snaps or flicks. Numbing cream helps to make it more comfortable, depending on your skin and the area being treated.

Can you remove all colours?

Black and dark ink respond best, but our advanced Pico laser can target a range of colours better than older laser tech. We’ll take a look during your consultation and give you honest advice on what to expect.

How many sessions will I need?

That depends on your tattoo’s size, age, colours, and how your body responds. Most tattoos need 6–10 sessions, spaced 4-6 weeks apart. We’ll tailor a plan that works for your goals and skin.

Will it leave a scar?

Scarring is very rare with the Pico laser, especially when aftercare is followed properly, but everyone responds differently. No picking or scratching during healing. We treat your skin with care every step of the way.

Can all tattoos be removed completely?

Many can be fully removed, but some may only fade significantly. It depends on the ink, placement, and your skin. Either way, we aim for the best result possible with the least impact.

Is it safe for all skin types?

Yes! Our laser is safe and effective for all skin tones. Your skin's safety is always our top priority. We’ll assess everything during your consultation, to be sure.

Can I remove just part of a tattoo?

Absolutely. Whether it’s a full fade, a cleanup, or just erasing part of a design, we’ve got you uncovered.

Is there downtime?

You might experience redness, swelling, or slight blistering, but it usually settles within a few days (this happens with some tattoos also). We’ll give you clear aftercare steps to keep things smooth. These are super important and you play a huge part in the healing process.

Can I get a new tattoo in the same spot later?

Yes! Once the area is fully healed and the old ink has cleared, you can start fresh with new art - or fresh skin.

Pigmentation Removal and Skin Rejuvenation with Pico Laser

What does pigmentation removal actually do?

Using our advanced Pico laser, we target excess melanin (the stuff behind dark spots, sun damage, and uneven tone) and break it down so your body can naturally clear it. The result? A clearer, brighter, more even complexion - with zero drama.

What kinds of pigmentation can you treat?

We can help fade:

  • Sun spots
  • Age spots
  • Freckles
  • Melasma (in some cases)
  • Post-inflammatory pigmentation (from acne or injuries)

Not sure what your spots are? That’s when you need to consult a dermatologist and then head on over to us for the treatment.

Does it hurt?

It feels like a light snapping or tingling sensation - nothing too intense. Most clients are surprised by how gentle it actually is.

Is it safe for all skin types?

Our Pico laser is safe and effective for all skin tones. We personalise the settings to match your unique skin, so you’re always in good hands. If anything might mess with your results (like recent sun time or skin texture), we’ll let you know upfront - no surprises here.

How many sessions will I need?

Most clients see visible improvement in 3–6 sessions, but that depends on your skin and how deep the pigmentation runs. We’ll give you a personalised plan after your first visit (aka consultation).

Will the spots come back?

The treated spots won’t return, but new ones can form if your skin isn’t protected - especially from the sun. SPF 50 is your new daily bestie.

Is there downtime?

Very minimal. You might see some redness or slight darkening of the pigment (that’s a good sign!), which fades in a few days. You can get back to your routine right away. SPF though!

Can I combine this with other treatments?

Yes! Pigmentation removal pairs beautifully with skin rejuvenation or carbon peeling for an all-round glow-up. We’ll talk about options during your consultation.

Is it permanent?

Once pigment is broken down and cleared, it’s gone - but lifestyle, hormones, and sun exposure can cause new spots over time. Regular treatments and good skincare help keep things even.

When will I see results?

Most clients notice a difference after the first or second session. Expect clearer, smoother skin that just keeps getting better.

Laser Hair Removal (Small Areas)

What areas can you treat with laser hair removal?

We focus on the little spots that make a big difference
✨ Glabella (between the brows)
✨ Upper lip
✨ Chin
✨ Fingers
✨ Toes

Small but mighty - perfect for smoothing things out without the razors or wax strips.

How does laser hair removal work?

Our Pico laser targets the hair follicle at the root with heat energy, which damages it just enough to slow or stop regrowth. Over time, hair becomes finer, slower-growing, and in many cases, barely there. Goodbye razor!

Does it hurt?

It’s super quick and most clients say it feels like a warm flick or elastic snap. The smaller the area, the faster it’s done - blink and you’ll miss it.

How many sessions will I need?

Usually 6–8 sessions, spaced about 4–6 weeks apart, depending on your hair type and skin. Everyone’s different, but we’ll build a plan that fits your follicles.

Is it permanent?

It offers long-term reduction. Some hairs may return finer or softer over time, but many clients see lasting results after a full course. Occasional touch-ups are suggested.

Is it safe for my skin tone?

Yes! Our technology is safe and effective for most skin types - and we adjust every treatment to suit your skin and hair profile.

Can I shave between sessions?

Yes, shaving is totally fine (and preferred). Just skip waxing or plucking because we need the root intact for the laser to do its thing.

Is there any downtime?

Nope. You might see a little redness right after, but it usually fades fast. You can get back to your day without skipping a beat.

Will it help with ingrown hairs?

Big yes. Laser hair removal is a game-changer for reducing and preventing those annoying ingrowns, especially on the chin and upper lip.

When will I see results?

You’ll start noticing slower regrowth and finer hairs after just a few sessions. Smooth skin incoming!
